How and What Information We Collect

In order to use certain services associated with the website, business, newsletter, and affiliated forums, and make event registrations, product purchases or downloads, you may register a profile online with OA.  When you register as a website user, join the newsletter, buy a class or consultation, OA may collect certain personally identifiable information from you.  This information may include your name, email address, date, time, and location of birth, billing and mailing address, telephone number, age, gender, and other information volunteered by you, testimonials or reviews such as client comments or provided through purchases, consultations, event registration, emails, postings, messages, and other electronic or verbal submissions sent or made by you to OA or any affiliated forums.  You should not provide OA with any personally identifiable information, or submit any personally identifiable information to OA or through any affiliated forums, unless you would like that information to be used by OA in accordance with this Policy.  OA may also automatically collect information from you when you access the website, including but not limited to your Internet Protocol (“IP”) Address.
 
What We Do With Your Information

OA will not share your personally identifiable information with any third parties, including individuals, businesses, or government entities, without your consent.  OA will share your personally identifiable information if required to do so by law, court order, subpoena, or other legal process or in the event you violate our Terms and Conditions. OA may use your information: to improve the website and our affiliated forums; to notify you about products, events, tutorials, group classes, individual consultations, seminars, workshops, and such activities that may be sponsored by or occurring to benefit OA; to contact you for marketing purposes, such as to offer specials (sales or discounts), information about products and services provided by and/or for OA that may interest you.

Security

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not misappropriated, inadvertently lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. Although no method of transmission over the Internet, by cloud or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow industry precautions and standards and best practices.
 
Intended General Audience and Live Event Caveats

The website, products, consultations, online events, and any affiliated forums, are not directed to persons under eighteen (18) years of age.  OA does not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from persons under eighteen (18) years of age. Parents may bring a younger teenager to an “Online Live” meeting or event, if the parent will attend and be present for the entire meeting or event. Please contact OA with specifics. Parents and others should be aware that attendees occasionally express adult concerns and give vent to language that may be inappropriate for some youthful or more sensitive persons..
 
Other Websites, Social Media, and Their Privacy Policies   

Third-party websites may be accessible through our website, event attendees or sponsors, or affiliated forums, among other concomitant entities.  These third-parties and websites have their own privacy and data collection policies and practices.  OA is not responsible for any actions or privacy policies of or by such third parties.  Persons should check the applicable privacy policies of those third parties when providing personally identifiable information through linked websites.

“Cookies” commonly are used and are defined as pieces of information in the form of small files that are placed on a computer hard drive to enable you to more easily communicate and interact with certain websites.  OA may use cookies on its website, although none of the cookies knowingly or willfully contain any personally identifiable information.
