Offered as a live meeting, presented each month. Garden development and practical use of its yield. Donna has grown plants–and even made compost–in places as varied as an apartment window ledge, clay pots (rental houses), and established home raised beds. Composting, organic, permaculture, vegetables, aromatic flowers and leaves, folk medicine, teas, oils for cooking and cosmetics, herbal vinegars, cooking, cleaning, body butters, dried and fresh, we’ll eventually cover it all. Donna Ellis has been enchanted with the garden since she encountered her first prickly cucumber leaf. She is an organic home gardener with more than three dozen fragrant and aromatic plants currently in residence in her kitchen garden. Donna has studied and practiced home herbalism since 1974. Join us and cultivate your potager in pots or plots. Green thumbs are learned and earned.
